DEMONSTRATION AND TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE IN LAND TRANSPORTATION AND SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

Innovation Program - Component 1
Innovation Program - Component 1 The Ministry is allocating $6,500,000 over five years to support SMEs in carrying out their demonstration and technology showcase projects in land transportation and sustainable mobility. This measure comes from the Sustainable Mobility Policy - 2030.

Objectives

Projects must:

• Support SMEs in the demonstration or showcasing of their product
• Improve growth prospects for SMEs
• Allow for creating and solidifying partnerships with cities and transportation companies

Financial assistance

Subject to the availability of funds, the financial assistance awarded to applicants is provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution.

• The maximum percentage of financial assistance is 50%.
• The maximum amount of aid is $350,000 per project.

A company cannot receive more than $500,000 for the duration of the Innovation Program (April 1, 2019, to March 31, 2024).

Submitting an application

Companies wishing to submit and application must read the Application Guide for the Innovation Program – Support for Demonstration and Technology Showcase Projects for the Land Transportation and Sustainable Mobility Industry, and complete the financial assistance application form. All applications must be written in French and be signed by a duly authorized official.
